My style is totally different from yours. Will you find stuff for me that I like, or will you just pick things that you like?

The very first thing we will do when we meet is talk about what you like to wear, what you feel good wearing, and what you think looks best on you. I will get a very good sense for what your style is from looking at your closet. I will shop for things that I think will fit into your life, your style, and flatter your figure. I might push the boundaries of what you like, I might encourage you to try something new or wouldn’t select for yourself, but I will always choose stuff with what you like wearing in mind.

Question 2

I hate trying on clothes. I hate shopping. How do you overcome that?

In the world of FASHION most people don’t! Most of the time, our clients come to us because they hate shopping. Let alone, stepping foot inside of a store.

Part of the reason many of you hate shopping is because when you don’t know how to choose the most flattering, attractive pieces for yourself, your shopping trips will never be that rewarding for you. Who would enjoy something when all they get out of it each time they do it, are results that they don’t love?

Unfortunately, you can't avoid the "trying on" part. Rest assured, however, when you shop with us, a good chunk of what you try on in the dressing room will look great on you. Most of our clients with budgets actually face the dilemma of having to decide which pieces to purchase and which ones to (regretfully) leave behind.

Being knowledgeable on how clothes are supposed to fit your body type will enormously change your ability to choose pieces AND possibly change the results you get at the end of your shopping experience. You might find that you actually enjoy shopping because you enjoy the end result.

Question 3

Can you teach me how to dress so I won’t need you every time I go shopping?

During our time together I will always advise why you should say yes to some garments and why you should say no to others. We are always pointing out the pros and cons of the items we try on and I am happy to answer all style and shopping questions you may have.

Why should I hire YOU as opposed to any other personal stylist?

Accepted Answer

I am an efficient stylist and I like to use your time and my time wisely! I want to spend your money like I spend my own; which means I am going to stretch your dollar as far as possible while finding good quality pieces. This will be an enjoyable experience and we will have LOTS of fun, but I'm also super serious about helping you look your best. I will guide you through the process of discovering your personal style while being sensitive to anything that might come up along the way.  I love to shop and promise to make this as stress free as possible and an easy going experience. I also just really love clothes, and I will help you love them too!

Is there a minimum budget for your clients?

No. Your budget can be as small as you'd like. I can shop for one occasion or a season. All of my customers have different goals with their wardrobe which is why I customize my fee accordingly.

Question 6

What is the average budget for your clients?

Accepted Answer

There isn't average budget. All of our clients have different needs and style goals, so it really depends on what you’re looking for in the moment. I have clients that hire me for one outfit for a special event. I also, have ongoing clients that might hire me every few months to buy several pieces to refresh their closet without having to buy a bunch of stuff. It really does depend on what you need and how many pieces you’d like. If you have some flexibility with budget, I can certainly get you more pieces for more wardrobe options looks. But you just have to let me know what you’re most comfortable with (within realistic terms) and I can work with that.

Question 7

I'm not local, but I definitely need help. Are you able to ship items to me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You will be responsible for the cost of shipping. During our virtual (video) consultation I will get all of your measurements and sizes, and we will gather the appropriate information to learn more about your body type. I will shop, pack up your pieces, and ship them to you.

If there is another service that I am interested in and I don’t see it on your website, what should I do?
